Ten Ways To Have A Better Day Today

flowers

10 WAYS to have a BETTER DAY TODAY
(by Geno Stampora)
  1. Wake up 30 Minutes Early.
Get up 30 minutes before the alarm goes off and take the first half hour for yourself. Once you get busy and into the day there never seems to be the time for yourself. Take this time to plan getting the most from the day.
  2. Read, Listen, or Watch Something Uplifting.
Make this a daily habit. Get out of starting the day with no mental food. A great day does not begin with the news or the paper, it begins with ideas or energy that will propel you through the day. What you first hear will stay with you throughout the day.
  3. Eat a Good Breakfast to Start You Off Right.
Get something good into your body to wake it up and get it going. Think about the energy you will need to perform. Everyday we run a marathon. What would you need to eat and drink to win it.
  4. Choose Your Winning Attitude.
There is enough to go wrong without sabotaging yourself. Your attitude is a choice you make. Don't let it come between you and your success. Be careful to keep it positive all day long.
  5. Be Aware of What They are Telling You.
The people around us have a profound effect on how we get through life. Our closest friends and family are our greatest environmental influences. Make sure you have the best advisors you can find.
  6. Make the Most of What You Do.
When you get to your work, make it the best place to be. Most people go to work and never think about work while they are there. Focus on your contribution. What would it be like if you were not around. Strive to give a 100% each and every day.
  7. Always Remember that People are Listening.
Make a point of talking well of others. Wish others the best in life. What goes around does come around. Don't talk negative about anyone. Try to understand their circumstances Practice being a support system to your friends and family. They need you.
  8. Be Honest and Fair to Others.
It does make a difference. What you give to others is usually what you get from others. Practice integrity that people can see and feel. Be aware of what you say. Learn to walk your talk at all times. The more people trust you, the more of their time they will trust with you.
  9. Pace Your Energy to Last All Day.
Be careful of bursts of energy. Pace your energy throughout the day. If you get to crazy early in the day, you will reach a point of exhaustion before the day is over. By planning your entire day before you begin, you will have what you need.
You've heard the old saying "look alive."
  10. Get in Bed Early and Study for the Future.
I have a friend who keeps a journal at his bedside. Every night he writes what he learned new on that day. The only way to keep one step above the masses is to learn new ways to do things. Develop the habit of reading a work or personal development book before you go to sleep. Reading for 30 minutes a day is like a year of college. You can't succeed if you don't read. Remember throughout your day that life is what we make it, day by day. Practice having the best day ever. It adds up to a great life.

The Three Fishes....Whom shall you put your trust?

The Three Fishes

Animation - Fish Pond

Once three fishes lived in a pond. One evening, some fishermen passed by the pond and saw the fishes. "This pond is full of fish", they told each other excitedly. "We have never fished here before. We must come back tomorrow morning with our nets and catch these fish." So saying, the fishermen left.
Fish
When the eldest of the three fishes heard this, he was troubled. He called the other fishes together and said, "Did you hear what the fishermen said? We must leave this pond at once. The fishermen will return tomorrow and kill us all."
fish
The second of the three fishes agreed, "You are right", he said. "We must leave the pond."
Fish
But the youngest fish laughed. "You are worrying without reason", he said. "We have lived in this pond all our lives, and no fishermen has ever come here. Why should these men return? I am not going anywhere- my luck will keep me safe."
fish
The eldest of the fishes left the pond that very evening with his entire family. The second fish saw the fishermen coming in the distance early next morning and left the pond at once with all his family. The third fish refuse to leave even then.
The fishermen arrived and caught all the fish left in the pond. The third fish's luck did not help him- he too was caught and killed.

The fish who saw trouble ahead and acted before it arrived as well as the fish who acted as soon as it came, both survived. But the fish who relied on luck and did nothing at all died. So also in life.

Trust the Lord your God with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.

Welcome message from the President

It has been more than 20 years now that our church & organization existed. Starting from God Is Alive Marikina to God Is Alive Jaen, Nueva Ecija until it reached many other places and established other churches unto the point that God Is Alive Cabanatuan City was also established.

Through the many years that passed, many wonderful things happened. There were good and sad memories but surely many are the joys that we had because the Lord has decided to bless us and He had been true to His promise that He’ll never leave us nor forsake us.

We were taught by the Lord to believe that whatever happens, “all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Jesus fully established our hearts to be strong and confident that all the things He begun doing in our lives, He will surely complete, until He comes (Phil.1:6). All doubts and fears banished when our Shepherd stated, “surely goodness & mercy & unfailing love shall follow us all the days of our lives, and we will dwell in the house of the Lord forever (Psalm 23:6).

With whatever joys & sadness; pain & success; loss & victory we had in the past or we will have in the future, all these are all for gain. From good experiences we gain good memories; from bad experiences we gain good lessons. This we now know, because the Lord holds everything in His hands. And so wherever you are now, whatever situation you may have, you must rise up & stand up for Jesus & remember the admonition from Hebrews 12:12-15 “therefore strengthen the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees, and make straight paths for your feet, so that what is lame may not be dislocated, but rather be healed. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord; looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up causes trouble, and by this many become defiled.”

In this present generation & technology we have, it will be wise for us to utilize all things possible in order to push through the main mission that God has bestowed to us. After all, “all things were created by Him, through Him & for Him. To whom be glory forever, Amen (Romans 11:36).

These are the mission we received from Him: To seek and to save the lost (Luke 19:10); to guide and convince all to repent and believe in Jesus’ Name and in believing they may have life in His Name (John 20:31); to go and preach the gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15); to go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them, teaching them to obey all…(Matthew 28:19-20); to present every man perfect in Christ (Colossians 1:28); to destroy the works of the enemy (1 John 3:8). We exist for this purpose. Real success is to accomplish the God-appointed purpose for our lives, no more, no less.

We welcome everyone to visit our website and see through the contents, primarily all the brethren that are linked & related to God Is Alive Christian Ministries at present and also to those who were with us physically in the times past.

You are always in our hearts wherever you are now, whatever situation or status you may have. Jesus loves you so much and we love you, too. You are part of our life, you are our family (spiritual family). It was God who led us to be connected and He is sovereign and He knows what’s best. Wherever you are now, we also want to inform you that after all these years we are still continuing and will continue to do the will of God, to give all our strength, with God’s help, to fulfill the ministry & to advance the Kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven. We want to keep in touch with you and keep you updated. Hearing from you will give refreshing and strength to our hearts.

With the contents of our website are some updates of what are happening and the campaigns and ministries we are laboring. Within also are some old photos of the past, you may see yourself part of.

And to all who accidentally browsed this website, we welcome you, too. May you be blessed in anyway. For your comments, please connect to us.

Let us go on, let us not grow weary in doing good for in due season, we shall reap the reward if we do not loose heart (Galatians 6:9). There were many troubles and heaviness, tempting us to give up and surrender and there will still be ahead, but the Lord will remain good and alive forevermore. He will always lead us in triumph (1 Corinthians 15:57). But we will never forget that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church of Christ. (Matthew 16:18).

All children of God must grow to become servants of God and all servants must grow as soldiers, we are soldiers of God. We are expected to keep on fighting until the end, fight the good fight of faith. Thank you very much.

All for love & all for the glory of God,

Pastor Ferdinand Y. Gonzalez
