Latest Overall Update on the House of God

Dear Brethren,

Facts and Figures connected to the house of God:

*The Project Temple started about the early to mid 1990's

*Throughout the many years we raised gradually through you ang many brethren's help up to the present around P1.4 million pesos...all these are properly recorded & audited and reported....Praise the Lord!..we are just simple church with simple pepol as members, but God blessed us and used each of us

*around P800,000.00 for the church buildind remains unpaid & needed to be paid in installment for 2 years

*around P800,000.00 also needs to be paid for 2 years for the lots....

*a plan for solving this need is by dividing the big piece of the need to many little pieces...here it is:

*we need at least 65 persons who love the Lord to contribute at least P1,000.00 /month for 2 years (24 times)...

*we need 12 persons who will contribute at least P2,000.00 for 2 years.

*we need 30 persons who will give at least P500. for 2 years.

If these materializes, there'll be no more difficulty, pati mga unfinished parts ay makukumpleto, look at the ants not only that they save early for the rainy seasons, they as groups and teams and partners carry the big load, the big piece together...hawak kamay sa tagumpay...kyang kaya basta sama-sama...lahat ito para sa Kanyang kaluwalhatian at karangalan at kapakanan ng Kaharian.

Huwag po sanang tayong ma-offend...Magtulong tulong tayo sa prayers, every victory and success starts and ends with prayer and worship.

First Evangelistic Raffle Concert

Last August 6,2008 was the first evangelistic raffle concert with Brother Philip Salvador as guest. We also had Brother Dennis Roldan to preach in church the Sunday prior to the evangelistic concert who is now also brother in christ.

The next evangelistic raffle concert will be on December 10, 2008. We are planning to invite other artists who had great transformation experience with the Lord. Options that we have would be Dulce, Kuh Ledesma, or Mike Hanopol of Juan Dela Cruz Band . . . It would be a great experience to be with Mike Hanopol playing inspirational and spiritual music.

Thank you so much for supporting our church. We will always pray for you that God may bless you at all times . . .

God bless you always . . .

Stop Complaining...Be Thankful!

The Hares And The Frogs

The Hares once gathered together and lamented the unhappiness of their lot, exposed as they were to dangers on all sides and lacking the strength and the courage to hold their own.

Men, dogs, birds and beasts of prey were all their enemies, and killed and devoured them daily: and sooner than endure such persecution any longer, they one and all determined to end their miserable lives.

Thus resolved and desperate, they rushed in a body towards a neighbouring pool, intending to drown themselves. On the bank were sitting a number of Frogs, who, when they heard the noise of the Hares as they ran, with one accord leaped into the water and hid themselves in the depths.

Then one of the older Hares who was wiser than the rest cried out to his companions, "Stop, my friends, take heart; don't let us destroy ourselves after all: see, here are creatures who are afraid of us, and who must, therefore, be still more timid than ourselves."

Sometimes we think we are the least significant person on earth...and we used to say "kawawa naman ako" or "buti pa sila...We are so overwhelmed with problems that we fail to see the other side of it...Yes,you may experienced being so downed...no self confidence..felt abandoned by everyone..or even asked, "why me,Lord?" How about seeing the bright side of it- instead of questioning and doubting God's plan for you...ask yourself, "what did God wants me to learn out of this situation?" No one is exempted from the trials of life. God feels your pain. He knows all your desires...Problems come and go...Pains and blessing always come together. Be thankful for everything- the good things and the bad things, because they both mold you to a better person. It is like saying, "no pain=no gain". Learn to trust God and not to question His "wonderful plans" for you. Count your blessings...stop complaining...Focus on yourself- on the things you "have", and on things you "can" do! Natatandaan ko pa yung kasabihan nung bata pa ako...Do your best, and God will do the rest!God is always in control-only if you let Him be the "driver" of your life! Ang sabi nga sa Bibliya....The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you." (Psalm 32:8 NLT)
I am sure there are so many things you should be thankful for,only if you look at the bright side!

No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
—1 Corinthians 10:13

In everything give thanks-AMEN crackers

***Amen Crackers***

Have you ever heard of “Amen Crackers”? I hadn’t either until my granddaughter, Amanda, came for a visit. Amanda is not quite two but ever since her parents taught her to pray she always prays for each individual thing on her plate.

One evening at suppertime Amanda was in the high chair and I went over to the kitchen counter to fill her plate. Her Mother had put three small crackers on her high chair tray to give her something to eat while I fixed her plate. I watched as she bowed her head and touched the first cracker with her index finger and said, “Amen cracker”. She touched the next cracker and said, “Amen cracker”, and then she went to the last cracker, touching it, and again saying, “Amen Cracker.” She thought the tiny crackers were her supper so she was saying her prayers.

Amanda has figured out that prayers have an “amen” in them but sometimes she gets the “amen” at the beginning instead of at the end of her prayers.

I got to thinking about the word, “amen” and I found that in Hebrew the word “amen” means to confirm and it is spoken to state, “so be it”. When we end our prayers with “amen” we are reaffirming our dedication to God. Sometimes church members or congregations say, “Amen”, to show confirmation or agreement when something powerful is spoken from the Word of God.

Amanda’s prayer might seem very simple but maybe she wasn’t so far off in what she was doing because she would have been confirming her dedication to God first of all instead of at the end. At any rate, we can gain wisdom from “the mouths of babes”. I learned several things from Amanda and her “Amen Crackers”.

* I learned that prayer should be a priority.

* I learned that whatever is on my “plate” I should be thankful for it.

* I learned I should keep it simple and be specific.

* I learned to have faith and trust God even when all I have is three crackers.

* I learned it is best to tend to my own crackers that have been provided for me and allow God to fill my plate.

* I learned to be patient. Even if I’m sitting in a high chair, I can’t see what is going on in God’s kitchen from where I sit.

* I learned to thank God for the small things, and not complain, even if all I have is crackers.

* I learned it doesn’t matter if you get the prayer backwards, God hears our hearts.

Have you thanked God for the crackers in your life?

“In everything give thanks for this is the will of Christ Jesus for you.”
(1 Thessalonians. 5:18)

Amen,

Benefit of Positive Motivation - More Tips

I don't know a thing about you but I am pretty sure that if you are reading this then you are at least a LITTLE interested in learning more about motivation? Would you like to find out more of the details behind making yourself a more effective person?

It has been stated in other places that motivation is the rocket fuel that pushes a person to fulfill their dreams, goals and needs. To create a fulfilling life the benefit of positive motivation should be acquired as soon as humanly possible.

Determine and Write Down Your Goals

Setting goals is one of the initial actions to take to finding out the benefit of positive motivation in your life. First, take a look at your life now. Are there parts of your life that you feel could be better? How would you change that? For example, if you sleep-in when you could be getting work done, a goal may be to wake up at a set time that would allow you to get more work done. Try not to make a pie-in-the-sky goal such as "getting a novel published." Make a more attainable goal such as "finish the first chapter of my novel." Setting specific, attainable goals keeps your motivation high and makes you less likely to fail. Failure is the biggest killer of motivation.

Do Something Nice For Yourself As A Reward

In the course of attaining your goal sometimes helps to bribe yourself. For example, if you do get up earlier for two whole days, or finish that novel chapter, or spend more time with your kids, then let yourself have that candy bar. The treat can be anything as long as it boosts your motivation to reach a goal.

Next Steps

For those that have set there sights high it becomes immediately obvious that to get to that next plateau you have to take it to the next level. In fact as you continuously self motivate yourself by having an increasing amount of goals that you have already accomplished as residual motivation it becomes time to set a new, bigger and better goal and discover for yourself bigger and better goals to motivate you. But isn't that what growth is all about? If you have a big enough WHY then you will find few things that you can't accomplish as you keep in mind the benefit of positive motivation.

Christian Love

Christian Love by Saundra L. Washington

Actually, loving does not take any great effort on our part because it is not something we must put forth great effort to achieve. When God enters our heart, soul, and mind, love is spontaneously produced because He is love. It is a spiritual attainment. It is the result of a cause and the cause is this: God loved us first (1 John 4:19).

This love is not produced by us. No one can love God until he knows that God loves him and we can only love God when we have perceived some reasons for doing so. Each person that has ever been saved never came to God as a lover of God, but as a sinner who had come to believe in God’s love for him or her. Our love is connected with this “knowing.”

When we realize God’s love for us, we become acutely aware of our unworthiness. The more we recognize our own helpless state, the more we understand God’s love for us; a love so great that it embraces poor sinner. We love because God first loved us.

God loves us. It is a fact affirmed and validated by the patriarchs, lawgivers, seers, prophets, apostles, teachers, deacons, evangelists. From Genesis to Revelation, a conglomeration of witnesses joined together to make this heavenly announcement: God loves us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died.

But, we cannot claim we love God if we do not love one another; for it is in loving God that we are enabled to love one another, and in loving one another, our love for God is strengthened. Human love is a response to God’s love. His love within us creates goodness and transforms the unlovable into the lovable. When this miracle occurs, we discover we love not only others, but ourselves.

No greater claim can any of us make than that we love. Love is a characteristic of those who love God. Love is the great bond of fellowship which binds believers to one another, and to our Lord. We love all men—even our enemies. Like John, we do not claim to love as deeply as we desire to love; we do not claim to love as much as we expect to as we progress in the faith, but we do claim to love. There is no guessing, no speculation, no assumptions, and no inferences.

We Christians stand side by side with John and thousands of others down through the generations to affirm what John declared. That somehow, even in this messed up world, even in times like these when man’s inhumanity to man seem to have reached chaotic proportions, we love and we do it because God lives in us and God is love. This is God’s eminent challenge to man and one of man’s greatest trials.

WARRIORS of the LORD- NO RETREAT, NO SURRENDER!!!

Request For Transfer

TO: Commander-in-Chief Spiritual Armed Forces, Jesus Christ

Dear Lord:

I am writing this to You to request a transfer to a desk job. I herewith present my reasons: I began my career as a private, but because of the intensity of the battle You have quickly moved me up in the ranks. You have made me an officer and given me a tremendous amount of responsibility. There are many soldiers and recruits under my charge. I am constantly being called upon to dispense wisdom, make judgments, and find solutions to complex problems. You have placed me in a position to function as an officer, when in my heart I know I have only the skills of a private.

I realize that You have promised to supply all I would need for the battle. But Sir, I must present You a realistic picture of my situation. My uniform, once so crisp and starched, is now stained with tears and blood of those I have tried to assist. The soles of my boots are cracked and worn from the miles I have walked trying to enlist, encourage, and instruct the troops. My weapons are marred, tarnished and chipped from constant battle against the enemy. Even the Book of Regulations I was issued has been torn and tattered from endless use. The words are now smeared.

You have promised You would be with me throughout, but when the noise of the battle is so loud and the confusion is so great, I can neither see nor hear You. I feel so alone. I'm tired. I'm discouraged. I have Battle Fatigue. I would never ask You for a discharge. I love being in Your service. But I humbly request a demotion and transfer. I'll file papers or clean latrines. Just get me out of the battle -- please, Sir.

Your Faithful, but tired, Warrior.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
TO: Faithful, but tired, Soldier, Spiritual Armed Forces
LOCATION: The Battlefield
SUBJECT: Transfer
Dear Soldier:
Your request for transfer has been denied. I herewith present My reasons: You are needed in this battle. I have selected you, and I will keep My Word to supply your needs. You do not need a demotion and transfer. Besides, you'd never cut it on latrine duty anyway. You need a period of "R & R" (Renewal and Rekindling). I am setting aside a place on the battlefield that is insulated and fully protected from the enemy. I will meet you there and I will give you rest. I will remove your old equipment and "make all things new."
You have been wounded in the battle, My soldier. Your wounds are not visible, but you have received grave internal injuries. You need to be healed. I will heal you. Also, you have been weakened in the battle. You need to be strengthened. I will strengthen you and be your strength. I will instill in you confidence and ability. My Words will be rekindled within you, giving you renewed love, zeal and enthusiasm. Report to Me tattered and empty. I will replenish you.
Compassionately,
Your Commander-in-Chief, Jesus Christ
