Temple Dedication and Ordination as Bishop

Beloved Brethren,
Kumusta uli?
Sabi sa Hebreo 9:27, "it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement.."...ibig sabihin: ONE LIFE, ONE DEATH & ONE JUDGEMENT.
Binigyan tayo ng buhay at hanggang ngayon ay buhay pa, ibig sabihin ay gusto pa tayong gamitin ni Lord. (read Joshua 14:6-13) Si Caleb ay nagsimulang gamitin ni Lord ng 40 years old, at siyay napakalakas at napakatapang, peak of his strength ang 40, after 45 years, sya'y 85 years old na, the same strength, the same faith, the same heart pa rin for the Lord, ready & willing to fight for God..& is very much willing to "wholly & fully" follow the Lord... sabi ng mundo kapag 30 plus years ka na ay pahina na lahat sa iyo...pero kapag nagpakatapang tayo, sumunod ng buong boo at nagtiwala ng buong buo kay Lord, 40 years old is the peak of your strength...Mga kapatid nag uumpisa pa lang tayo sa dakilang paglilingkod natin sa dakilang Diyos, may tinanggap tayong dakilang misyon....Kung ako po tatanungin I am aiming for 120 years ng buhay ng paglilingkod sa Diyos, tulad ni David, Moses, Abraham at iba pa...kaya lang kung wala na mga ka partners ko at ka team work na tulad ninyo, parang kulang na...magpakatapat at magpakatapang tayong lahat...
Nakakamangha talaga ang biyaya ng Panginoon, at ito'y mamamalagi sa atin habang tayo'y nabubuhay, 'surely goodness & mercy
& unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, & I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever...ini attach ko po dito ang ilang pictures nung nakaraang dedication at ordination at attach na rin ang song & lyrics ng kantang Amazing Grace, My Chains are Gone...Purihin ang Panginoon sa Kanyang kabutihan sa atin, na bagamat tayo'y tao lamang hindi perpekto, minahal niya tayo at patuloy na ginagamit...Hallelujah!!!

Hanggang dito na lang muna. . . More pictures can be viewed here.

Present Update God Is Alive Philippines

Beloved Brethren,

"Well done good & faithful servant, you've been faithful over a few things, you will now be ruler over many things, enter into the joy of your Lord."

Dedication of the House of God and Ordination as Bishop

Beloved Brethren & Fellow Servants of God,

The Temple of God's Glory (God's House/God Is Alive Central Church Cabanatuan City) is set to be dedicated on September 19,2009 Saturday, 10 am to 1 pm...This is a very great celebration, we are praying & expecting for God to move miraculously on this day...Thank you so much for having you as a partner for accomplishing great things for God.. As it is stated, "Expect great things from God, attempt great things for God... " Only a few Christians step in this level of faith & courage to do great exploits for God's glory, so we made the step to build Him a house & it will be dedicated soon.
This cannot be done without you thank you so much, let us all have joy that we will be rewarded by the Lord in many ways because of this ...However, there are still parts in God's house that are not yet complete, but it is almost done....We still need your prayer support on this until that date comes...prayer will move God for sure, God just wants to see that there are people who cares & truly desirous to glorify Him...God looks at the heart.

Within the same date & celebration is my ordination to be the Bishop of the organization God Is Alive & the body of Christ in Nueva Ecija, I would like you to also know that I did not aspire or worked out for this title, but many fellow pastors & ministers & leaders & various chairmen of pastoral associations in the province and also the Provincial Association of Pastors & Churches (AMMNE) encouraged me to enter into this level of function not only for the denomination but also for the whole body of Christ in Nueva Ecija. One of the reasons is because i have served as the President & Chairmen of AMMNE and CCMF for many years and times in the past and had been instrumental in the establishing of unity and structure of the One Body of Christ.

Two months to go, please continue to pray for God's work...That everything we do and say glorifies the Lord....

This is just an update & prayer request.Thank you so much.

By faith and by Love,

Forgiveness:Putting God Over Our Emotions

Forgiveness

Once upon a time two brothers who lived on adjoining farms fell into conflict. It was the first serious rift in 40 years of farming side by side, sharing machinery, and trading labor and goods as needed without a hitch. Then the long collaboration fell apart. It began with a small misunderstanding and it grew into a major difference, and finally it exploded into an exchange of bitter words followed by weeks of silence.

One morning there was a knock on John's door. He opened it to find a man with a carpenter's toolbox. "I'm looking for a few days work" he said. "Perhaps you would have a few small jobs here and there. Could I help you?"

"Yes," said the older brother. "I do have a job for you. Look across the creek at that farm. That's my neighbor, in fact, it's my younger brother. Last week there was a meadow between us and he took his bulldozer to the river levee and now there is a creek between us. Well, he may have done this to spite me, but I'll go him one better. See that pile of lumber curing by the barn? I want you to build me a fence -- an 8-foot fence -- so I won't need to see his place anymore. Cool him down, anyhow."

The carpenter said, "I think I understand the situation. Show me the nails and the post-hole digger and I'll be able to do a job that pleases you."

The older brother had to go to town for supplies, so he helped the carpenter get the materials ready and then he was off for the day.

The carpenter worked hard all that day measuring, sawing, nailing.

About sunset when the farmer returned, the carpenter had just finished his job.

The farmer's eyes opened wide, his jaw dropped.

There was no fence there at all. It was a bridge -- a bridge stretching from one side of the creek to the other! A fine piece of work handrails and all -- and the neighbor, his younger brother, was coming across, his hand outstretched.

"You are quite a fellow to build this bridge after all I've said and done."

The two brothers stood at each end of the bridge, and then they met in the middle, taking each other's hand. They turned to see the carpenter hoist his toolbox on his shoulder. "No, wait! Stay a few days. I've a lot of other projects for you," said the older brother.

"I'd love to stay on," the carpenter said, "but, I have many more bridges to build."

Sa aking minamahal na kapatid, kay Kristo Hesus....Spirit of peace be upon you!

I am not saying things here because I want to tell you what to do ,or ,that I have wisdom you don't have...I am sharing words of love- that come from the Lord! I am doing this out of love...as I love my husband, my children, my nanay, my tatay, and so I love my kuya and my only sister, also my love is for my brother-in-law and my sister-in-law ,and to all the people God gave me to love.....Above all these, because I love God........

A message from the God of Peace:

Every people has the desire to be appreciated, to be great, and to be respected. But greatness should not be equalled to perfection, for there is no one who is perfect. And because of the imperfection, every one should be humble. All have shortcomings, all make wrong choices, all have inabilities…All are not good enough to be truly called “great”. Greatness equals humility, and humility equals courage. It takes lots of courage to say, “I am sorry….I am wrong.” But it is not an act of foolishness nor a sign of weakness. Only a strong person can take his pride off and put it down on the ground. The low tone of voice doesn’t decreases someone’s greatness, nor loss his honor; but he eventually earn much respect…On the other hand, in anger, one can’t accomplish anything, but only brings disasters- to himself and to others. Faults should not be magnified , nor the emotions it made the heart to feel. As the need for a single fire to be extinguished immediately, so is the same with anger; if not, it will destroy everything on its path. The word “Sorry” also means, “I am not the best”…and… “I need help”. Putting down one’s pride, is like stepping down the long stairs, unlocking the door, welcoming those who hurt you, and then climbing the stairs again- but this time, together! There is joy when we say “I am sorry”, because there is freedom from the hurts & bitterness. Practice saying kind words-words of appreciation, words that bring peace and build people. Don’t open your mouth if evil words are to come out. Consequently, freedom from anger brings abundance of forgiveness. Forgiving bridges gaps and restores relationships. When someone says “I am sorry”, you should be saying the words, “I forgive you”.

I pray for you- a humble heart that forgives and loves again!

with love and sincerity,
Charo

When God Says "No" ; Better Things From God

What if God says "No"? But why?

"God always answers our prayers, but sometimes the answer is no."
(~Author Unknown)

"Prayer may not change things for you, but it for sure changes you for things. "
(~Samuel M. Shoemaker)

Sometimes, what we prayed for is not answered as we expected, or not answered at all. In His time, God has better things to give for us...As we begin to ask something from God and wait for it, we develop an attitude of patience and humility. We need to appreciate how God changes our attitudes, not only when He grant us what we wish for. And also, let us thank God even when He says "no" to our prayers...God's "no" means that He has better things to give us, but we have to wait! And trust His perfect will for us!

The Lord will work out his plans for my life—for your faithful love, O Lord, endures forever.
-Psalm 138:8 NLT-

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Making A Difference Through The Power Of The Tongue

Making A Difference

Her name was Mrs. Thompson. As she stood in front of her 5th grade class on the very first day of school, she told the children a lie. Like most teachers, she looked at her students and said that she loved them all the same. But that was impossible, because there in the front row, slumped in his seat, was a little boy named Teddy Stoddard. Mrs. Thompson had watched Teddy the year before and noticed that he didn't play well with the other children, that his clothes were messy and that he constantly needed a bath. And, Teddy could be unpleasant. It got to the point where Mrs. Thompson would actually take delight in marking his papers with a broad red pen, making bold X's and then putting a big "F" at the top of his papers. At the school where Mrs. Thompson taught, she was required to review each child's past records and she put Teddy's off until last. However, when she reviewed his file, she was in for a surprise.

Teddy's first grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is a bright child with a ready laugh. He does his work neatly and has good manners. He is a joy to be around,"

His second grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is an excellent student, well liked by his classmates, but he is troubled because his mother has a terminal illness and life at home must be a struggle."

His third grade teacher wrote, "His mother's death had been hard on him. He tries to do his best, but his father doesn't show much interest and his home life will soon affect him if some steps aren't taken." Teddy's fourth grade teacher wrote, "Teddy is withdrawn and doesn't show much interest in school. He doesn't have many friends and he sometimes sleeps in class."

By now, Mrs. Thompson realized the problem and she was ashamed of herself. She felt even worse when her students brought her Christmas presents, wrapped in beautiful ribbons and bright paper, except for Teddy's. His present was clumsily wrapped in the heavy brown paper that he got from a grocery bag. Mrs. Thompson took pains to open it in the middle of the other presents. Some of the children started to laugh when she found a rhinestone bracelet with some of the stones missing, and a bottle that was one quarter full of perfume. But she stifled the children's laughter when she exclaimed how pretty the bracelet was, putting it on, and dabbing some of the perfume on her wrist. Teddy Stoddard stayed after school that day just long enough to say, "Mrs. Thompson, today you smelled just like my Mom used to." After the children left she cried for at least an hour.

On that very day, she quit teaching reading, and writing, and arithmetic. Instead, she began to reach children. Mrs. Thompson paid particular attention to Teddy. As she worked with him, his mind seemed to come alive. The more she encouraged him, the faster he responded. By the end of the year, Teddy had become one of the smartest children in the class, and despite her lie that she would love all the children the same, Teddy became one of her "teacher's pets."

A year later, she found a note under her door, from Teddy, telling her that she was the best teacher he had in his whole life.

Six years went by before she got another note from Teddy. He then wrote that he had finished high school, third in his class, and she was still the best teacher he ever had in his whole life.

Four year after that, she got another letter, saying that while things had been tough at times, he'd stayed in school, had stuck with it, and would graduate from college with the highest of honors. He assured Mrs. Thompson that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had in his whole life. Then four more years passed and yet another letter came. This time he explained that after he got his bachelor's degree, he decided to go a little further. The letter explained that she was still the best and favorite teacher he ever had. But now his name was a little longer -- the letter was signed, Theodore F. Stoddard, MD

The story doesn't end there. You see, there was yet another letter that spring. Teddy said he'd met this girl and was going to be married. He explained that his father had died a couple of years ago and he was wondering if Mrs. Thompson might agree to sit in the place at the wedding that was usually reserved for the mother of the groom. Of course, Mrs. Thompson did. And guess what? She wore that bracelet, the one with several rhinestones missing. And she made sure she was wearing the perfume that Teddy remembered his mother wearing on their last Christmas together. They hugged each other, and Dr. Stoddard whispered in Mrs. Thompson ear, "Thank you, Mrs. Thompson, for believing in me. Thank you for making me feel important and showing me that I could make a difference." Mrs. Thompson, with tears in her eyes, whispered back. She said, "Teddy, you have it all wrong. You were the one who taught me that I could make a difference. I didn't know how to teach until met you."

*Warm someone's heart today...Remember that wherever you go, and whatever you do, you have an opportunity to change someone's outlook in life... Do it in a positive way.*

"Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it will eat its fruit"
(Proverbs 18:21)

Motivation can come from someone's encouraging words or good examples. Some people are motivated by inspiring words and actions; and sadly, some people are motivated by the bitter words or experiences they had. The tongue, which is just a tiny part of the human body, can be so powerful enough to build or wreck someone's life. The wrong words we spoke are many times are the harsh ones- we spoke it because we are angry or we are hurt too; or, because we make judgements first without knowing and understanding the person. We failed to say the right words because we fail to listen more and feel more...Everybody is experiencing his own share of life's difficulty. He or she is just the same as we are- in need of help and encouragement, and in need of a friend. Someday, somehow, whether by intention or not, words we spoke will leave a mark on that person's life...a scar- a painful mark that may cause him to live in bitterness and failure...or, it can shape a thankful heart that will lead him to happiness and success. Learn to listen more and feel more...

Today, start using the power of your tongue to build someone's dream..encourage a friend, your husband or your wife, your kids, your mother or father, your officemate, and everyone! and remember...how you say it..matters most- say it with tones of concern. Make a difference in someone's life today!

Beware: Doing Things In Haste!

"Never be in a hurry; do everything quietly and in a calm spirit. Do not lose your inner peace for anything whatsoever, even if your whole world seems upset. "
(~St Francis de Sales)

Have you ever experienced making a decision or doing things in a hurry, because there was no much time left? Well, I am an expert on that! Hahaha! When everything is to be done in its last minute, many things go wrong than accomplishing things the right way. First of that, is the stress that goes with the hurrying up. I can't help myself being angry because I must do things in just a snap of my finger. And at times, I say words that are unpleasant to the ear,and so, I had created another stress for another person who heard it ; So the "hate feeling" began to spread. Another bad effect of hurrying is that, you forget so many things. When going somewhere, you might left something at the house ,or drop something on the road. Or if the hurrying up is for making a decision, other important details to consider are left out, thus making a wrong decision. Things made in a haste, often create disasters. So what is my point in saying these things? Beware of doing things in a hurry!( I have to remind myself a thousand times about these things-because I am always guilty of this!)I wish you the best of today, though busy and tired, may the spirit of calmness be with you!

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.
(Psalm 27:14 NIV)

It is the best time to pray and listen to God's voice, when things might seem to be short of time...and when you think that you don't have the time to pray...then, more is the need to seek God's help, because in hurrying up, the devil's ways are more likely to succeed! Seek wisdom from God. Beware of making things in haste because they often go to waste!

I wish you enough . . .

Recently I overheard a mother and daughter in their last moments together at the airport. They had announced the departure.

Standing near the security gate, they hugged and the mother said "I love you and I wish you enough."

The daughter replied, "Mom, our life together has been more than enough.

Your love is all I ever needed. I wish you enough, too, Mom."

They kissed and the daughter left.

The mother walked over to the window where I was seated.

Standing there I could see she wanted and needed to cry.

I tried not to intrude on her privacy but she welcomed me in by asking
"Did you ever say good-bye to someone knowing it would be forever?".

"Yes, I have, "I replied. "Forgive me for asking but why is this a forever good-bye?".

"I am old and she lives so far away. I have challenges ahead and the reality is the next trip back will be for my funeral" she said.

"When you were saying good-bye, I heard you say 'I wish you enough'.

May I ask what that means?".

She began to smile. "That's a wish that has been handed down from other
generations. My parents used to say it to everyone".

She paused a moment and looked up as if trying to remember it in detail
and she smiled even more.

"When we said 'I wish you enough' we were wanting the other person to
have a life filled with just enough good things to sustain
them". Then turning toward me she shared the following as if she were
reciting it from memory

I wish you enough sun to keep your attitude bright.

I wish you enough rain to appreciate the sun more.

I wish you enough happiness to keep your spirit
alive.

I wish you enough pain so that the smallest joys in life appear much bigger.

I wish you enough gain to satisfy your wanting.

I wish you enough loss to appreciate all that you possess.

I wish you enough hellos to get you through the final good-bye.

She then began to cry and walked away.

They say it takes a minute to find a special person, an hour to appreciate
them, a day to love them, but then an entire life to forget them.

TAKE TIME TO LIVE.....

To all my friends and loved ones, I WISH YOU
ENOUGH.....
